Emilee Pelletier, Individual Giving Associate
Emilee (she/her/hers) is a researcher and writer who is working and resting for the collective efforts to dismantle harmful systems and rebuild and sustain new futures. She is a part of WITNESS’ External Relations team, where she helps to channel resources to the vital work of human rights defenders, and invests in strengthening allyship and global solidarities.
Prior to joining WITNESS, Emilee worked in development for a U.S. local human service organization, was a Zolberg IRC Fellow with IRC’s Airbel Impact Lab, conducted research on tech and urban development for the UNDP, and has contributed to projects on migration and housing in several regions around the world. Her interests lie at the intersection of bodies, borders, and belonging including advocacy around transracial international adoption; global supply chains, labor and consumption; migration; and climate change.
Emilee has an M.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in Governance and Rights from the New School. She calls a few places home and resides in New York City.
