INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE DAY #JusticeMatters
Seventeen years ago the Rome Statute was officially adopted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) making July 17 the day of International Criminal Justice.
This is a day that we care deeply about at WITNESS so this year we’re celebrating by joining the ICC’s campaign in telling the world why #justicematters to us.
At WITNESS we believe in a more just world where perpetrators of human rights abuses are held accountable for their actions. That’s why we’ve been working closely with the ICC to develop our Video as Evidence Guide so that people around the world can use the cameras to document the truth and ultimately achieve justice.
